Most of our base cabinets are available with drawers. Drawers are the most popular choice in the bathroom, which is why we have a large selection of base cabinets with drawers across our ranges. We can understand why drawers are popular in the bathroom - you get plenty of storage space and if you have tall drawers in your vanity unit and base cabinet you can leave items upright so you have a great overview of your belongings. If your vanity unit has drawers you can also choose a base cabinet with drawers for a uniform look.

In our Luna range you can also choose a base cabinet with a door. This base cabinet is similar to a wall or tall cabinet but as it is deeper in projection you can use it in a bathroom where you have a little more space. However you'll need to remember to choose a worktop for this base cabinet as the top of the cabinet is aluminium-coloured. Use a few of these tall base cabinets next to each other and you'll have a beautiful piece of storage furniture that you can use in the bathroom or elsewhere in your home. The base cabinet has 2 beautiful glass shelves, so you can easily store your personal belongings. This base cabinet for your bathroom is also available with integrated handles or push open for a cleaner and more minimalistic look.

The base cabinets with drawers open and close just as easily as your vanity unit and the base cabinets have plenty of space for your things. If you want 2 drawers you can get base units in a height of 64cm. CHOOSE BASE CABINETS WITHOUT BASIN

The difference between a base cabinet and a vanity unit is that a base cabinet doesn’t have waste cut-outs for a basin. This is important when designing and putting together your bathroom. When you put your base cabinet together with a vanity unit you'll either need to choose a worktop and a countertop basin or have your basin customised to fit over your furniture. You can also use the base cabinets as a separate piece of furniture in your bathroom. On one wall you have your vanity unit with a beautiful basin and on the wall next to it you could place 2 base cabinets together with a beautiful worktop that complements the colours. This gives you plenty of extra storage space in your bathroom.

Do you want a double basin? Then consider a customised solution where you choose 2 vanity units with a worktop and 2 countertop basins, Between these 2 vanity units you can place a base cabinet with the same number of drawers as your vanity unit creating a truly beautiful and cohesive piece of furniture. If you have a sloping wall in your bathroom a base cabinet in combination with a vanity unit is a great idea. With an asymmetrical basin you can leave the base cabinets under your sloping wall and the vanity unit with the basin further into the room where you have the height. Please note that our base cabinets cannot be used to support a washing machine or tumble dryer. Instead you can choose to use a few base cabinets next to the washing machine so you have room for your cleaning products and detergents.

Is there room for more than a vanity unit? Perhaps there could be wall cabinets on the wall next to the mirror? It may be that a single vanity unit is enough but it might also be the case that a vanity unit in combination with a base cabinet is the right solution for your bathroom.

HOW HIGH IS A BASE CABINET?

Dansani base cabinets are available in different heights. You can get base cabinets with drawers that measure 40cm-64 cm but we also have base cabinets with doors that measure 80cm in height.

WHERE SHOULD A BASE CABINET HANG?

A base cabinet should hang wherever you have room for it - it's as simple as that.
