Our solutions are inspired by the life that takes place around our design. Our products must create space for the people using them and allow them the freedom needed to create their own perfect settings.

We consider the bathroom to be an important room in every home and we want the design to fit all the other things in the home. You might even say that our first job is to come up with solutions that make life – and everything that it involves – easier and more beautiful, and therefore more meaningful.

One of the most important characteristics of Danish design is its minimalistic and functional approach. It is characterised by simplicity, clean lines and timeless aesthetic design. Danish design strives to create objects that are simple, beautiful and practical at the same time. It focuses on removing the unnecessary and creating products that have a harmonious balance between form and function.

Furniture design has been one of the most prominent and influential disciplines in Danish design. Names like Arne Jacobsen, Hans J. Wegner and Børge Mogensen are just some of the iconic Danish designers who have left their mark on the furniture world. Their work has been recognised for its simple elegance, comfort and groundbreaking construction. Famous pieces like the 'Egg' by Arne Jacobsen and the 'Y-chair' by Hans J. Wegner have become classics and continue to inspire and influence today's designers.

Architecture is another important part of Danish design heritage. The Danish modernist architectural movement, known as 'funkis', was born in the early 20th century and has had a profound influence on the international architecture scene. Renowned architects such as Arne Jacobsen and Jørn Utzon have created iconic buildings such as the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen and the Sydney Opera House, which have been celebrated for their elegant design and technical innovation.

Lighting is another category where Danish design has made its mark. Louis Poulsen and Poul Henningsen are among the most recognised Danish lighting designers. Their lamps, including the PH lamp and the AJ lamp, have become emblematic of Danish design and are known for their innovative light distribution and aesthetic appeal.
